This weekend, Max made his first drawings that weren’t just ongoing scribbling. I’m not saying they are works of art. I think this one was a seal, with three eyes and a mouth.

One interesting point is that Max thinks the mouth is more important than the head. If you show him a headless drawing, he says, “Where’s the mouth??”

His current fascinations include trains and dinosaurs. He can name Giganotosaurus, Pteranodon, Velociraptor, Triceratops, and a bunch of others. And he can name a dozen or two Thomas trains.
